The Founder

The stint of The Commercial Institute could be traced from pre-Independence era of India. It was founded by Rev. Promode Ranjan Roy on 21st June, 1947. Since the inception of this institute, the founder had laid down his entire life creating some of the finest stenographers working in the land of Mata Tripureshwari and also working full fledgedly throughout the nation. His devotion, integrity, and determination are some of the unwavering principles which laid the foundation for many stenographers. He, by his disciples, has always been reckoned as the   epitome of Stenography and Typing. He brought a revolution in the field of Stenography in the later part of 20th Century. It is in the year of 2009, the nonagenarian master whose health condition showed a sudden deterioration, shifted the responsibility of The Commercial Institute to one of his disciples, by way of a deed, who since then has been carrying on the legacy of this mighty Institute on the foot steps of His Guru. He left this abode leaving his wife, sons and daughter and many of his followers on 3rd November, 2011.
